Meet Kelly and Amy Wise!

What do Latin ballroom dancing and dog poo have in common? Kelly and Amy Wise! When the owners of DoodyCalls® of Houston aren’t scooping doodoo, they’re doing the cha cha. For the Wises, dancing is a family affair. Their daughter, Tatum, is a competitive Latin ballroom dancer at just 15 years old.

Prior to investing in a DoodyCalls franchise, Kelly was in industrial sales, while Amy has a background in multifamily management/development and pharmaceutical sales. They see pooper scooper services as the Next Big Thing. After all, it wasn’t all that long ago that no one paid to have their lawns mowed. Today, very few people mow their own lawns. Kelly and Amy believe pet waste management will follow the same path.

Of course, their love of dogs was a factor, too. They have two rescues: Buster, a 5lb chihuahua and Oni, a lab mix.

They’re also proud of their son, Ty, who was recently accepted into the National Guard’s Special Forces training program.

DoodyCalls® of Houston is much more than a pet waste removal service. The company also works with commercial property owners, such as multifamily complexes and other facilities with shared green spaces, to install and maintain pet waste stations. It also provides deodorizing.
