DoodyCalls Announces New Director of PR

Marc Samson Leads In-House Team

Charlottesville, VA—June 4, 2009—The country’s largest provider of pet waste removal services today announced the transition of nationwide PR operations to an in-house team, beginning with the hiring of Marc Samson, a DC-based publicity-rainmaker, as the Director of Public Relations.

With recent placements in the Wall Street Journal, Washington Post and Redbook Magazine, Samson is expected to bring the company well-deserved national attention.

DoodyCalls was named one of Entrepreneur Magazine's “Top 500 Franchises” in 2009, with over 40 franchises in twenty-one states and counting, and is projecting 35% growth in 2009.

Until now, DoodyCalls employed an outside firm specializing in franchise publicity, but with the company’s rapid market expansion, the decision was made to bring PR activities closer to home, says the company founder, Jacob D’Aniello.

Samson, who studied marketing at the University of Maryland’s Smith School of Business, will bring his cutting-edge creativity and new media know-how into play in developing and implementing new PR campaigns and outreach strategies.
