Franchise Profile
Central CT & The Farmington Valley
Local Owners: Paul & Martha Stansel, and Keith Walkley
I asked my wife Martha to leave teaching and join me in entrepreneurship in early 2006. At the time, I was operating a 1-800-GOT-JUNK? franchise and wanted to expand into other service business areas, but I needed help. Fortunately, Martha was ready for a change. At the same time, our friend Keith was looking for a way to gain business ownership through sweat equity.
Martha and I have always enjoyed the company of pets and have adopted several wonderful dogs and cats from shelters over the years. Keith has had an even deeper commitment to animal safety and well-being nearly all his life. He volunteers a great deal of his time to these causes and even worked for an animal rescue organization in Connecticut for a while.
When I approached Keith about joining us as a partner in building the DoodyCalls brand in Connecticut, he jumped at the opportunity. We spoke with a number of other franchise partners and heard many positive things about DoodyCalls and the D'Aniellos from people whose opinions we trusted. This led to a meeting with Jacob and Susan, and the rest is history!

Residential & Community Services
The way DoodyCalls pet waste removal service works is pretty simple:
A uniformed, friendly, and insured technician will arrive at your home, thoroughly inspect your yard, pick up the poop, leave a tag to let you know we’ve been there, and quietly leave. There are no contracts, and you will never need to pick up after your dog again! Give us a try or learn more about our residential pet waste removal services!
We actively work with Home Owners Associations (HOAs), apartment communities, and parks. We clean common areas as well as sell, install, maintain, and service pet waste stations. We also sell pet waste station supplies and dog waste bags. Give us a try or learn more about our community pet waste management services.
We are proud that our service helps people in Connecticut to safely enjoy their pets and yards while keeping thousands of pounds of pet waste from polluting our state’s waterways and aquifers. |
